What clients usually ask about the auctions
How does the live auction work?
Each piece has its own lot with photo, fact sheet and starting price. Bids are placed online in real time with a visible timer. If a bid comes in during the last 30 seconds, the closing extends another 30 seconds (anti-sniping). Whoever has the last valid bid at the end, wins.
How do I take part?
To bid you need a verified account (ID + contact information). Sign-up is free and done once. If you win, we coordinate payment by bank transfer or in person within 48 hours, and delivery at the house or by insured shipping.
I want to consign a piece for auction. How?
We appraise your piece first (no charge). If it is worth auctioning instead of selling directly, we explain commission, suggested starting price and reserve price. You sign the consignment and we take care of the rest: photography, fact sheet, promotion and bidding.
What happens if a piece does not reach the reserve price?
If the reserve price is not reached, the piece is not sold and returns to you (or moves to the next auction, if you prefer). No withdrawal fee.

Call or write us. We appraise first, explain the numbers and commission, and you decide whether to enter the auction or prefer a direct sale.
